Our Belief

We believe in the universal church, living spiritual body of which Christ is the head and all believers are members. At Sunrise MCC we believe that each human being is, by his or her very being, a unique creation in this universe and deserves to be treated with equal dignity regardless of gender, sexual orientation, race, age, physical or mental challenge, health status, nationality or economic status. We believe the local church consists of a company of believers for worship, work, fellowship and prayer. We believe God is a fair and just God who wants all people to know Him intimately. We believe in one triune God, omnipotent, omnipresent and omniscient, of one substance and of three persons: God--our Parent Creator; Jesus Christ--God's only begotten son, God in Flesh, human; and the Holy Spirit--God as our sustainer and helper. Our church serves to bring all people to God through the life of Jesus Christ and become God's beacon to the community and the world. We believe it is the Holy Spirit who helps us to live our lives as God would have us.
